Currently this is my casual uniform for traveling, fun weekends and running errands. There's no better comfy outfit than wearing boyfriend jeans with sneakers. I have been a little obsessed with this Rebecca Minkoff backpack and my Adidas superstars! I try to find an outfit to wear these two everywhere I go. Hope everyone had an amazing weekend! XO

Actualmente este es mi uniforme casual para viajar, fines de semanas y hacer diligencias. No hay un atuendo tan cómodo como usar "boyfriend jeans" con zapatos deportivos. He estado un poco obsesionada con esta mochila de Rebecca Minkoff y mis Adidas! Trato de encontrar un atuendo para usarlos todo el tiempo. Espero que hayan tenido un fin de semana espectacular! XO

First post of the year, yay! And what an amazing way to start 2016 with a trip to my motherland Puerto Rico. The second weekend of January one of my cousins got married back home and I wore this lovely lace dress. This hot little number is Lovers + Friends Caspian shift dress from Revolve Clothing. I decided to wear a light lace dress since the wedding was in the Caribbean. I paired it with the Hastina gladiator sandals from Aldo and styled my hair with light waves. It was such a beautiful wedding and she looked amazing and so happy! After all, life is all about love and family. I'll be sharing photos from the trip very soon! Thank you for reading!

El primer post del año, yay! Y que mejor manera para iniciar el 2016 con un viaje a Puerto Rico. El segundo fin de semana de Enero una de mis primas se casó y use este vestido de encaje precioso. Este pequeño vestido es de Lovers + Friends de Revolve Clothing. Decidí usar un vestido corto de encaje ya que la boda fue en el Caribe. Lo combine con sandalias gladiadores de la tienda Aldo y lleve el cabello con ondas suaves. Fue una boda muy hermosa y la novia se veía increíble y muy feliz! Después de todo, la vida es sobre el amor y la familia. Voy a compartir fotos muy pronto del viaje! ¡Gracias por leer!

This Time of the Year

2015 is almost over and this time of the year we dress up and indulge ourselves in rich colors, shiny finishes and flashy textures. This is what I wore on Christmas Eve to a party with my family and I chose a simple dress yet elegant with sequins and feather details. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with their loved ones! Ya casi el 2015 termina y en esta época del año nos damos el gusto de usar colores ricos, acabados brillantes y texturas llamativas en nuestros atuendos. Me puse este vestido en la víspera de Navidad para festejar con mi familia. Elegí un vestido sencillo pero elegante con lentejuelas y detalles de plumas. Christmas is right around the corner, I can't believe how fast this year went by! Personally I love this time of the year, there is something so special and magical about the Holiday season. Dressing up is definitely one of my favorite parts. With so many different parties, events, get-togethers to attend, choosing what to wear can become a bit frustrating. So for this post i'm wearing an edgy faux leather dress that you can wear for a holiday event and add a couple of fun accessories to go with your style! Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!

La Navidad ya está a la vuelta de la esquina, no puedo creer lo rápido que pasó este año! Personalmente me encanta esta época del año, hay algo muy mágico y especial en esta temporada. Con tantos eventos, cenas y reuniones elegir tantos atuendos puede llegar a ser un poco frustrante. Today's look is a combination of my favorite pieces at the moment. Starting with Billabong's Night Moves Jacket, I have been traveling everywhere with this vegan leather motorcycle jacket. It's lightweight with quilted sleeves and light enough for fall but can be layered for the winter. The skinny ripped black jeans are a must! Love, love this backpack from Zara which is great for traveling. And the awesome lace-up heels that i'm so into at the moment with my classic hat! What can I say, you can never go wrong with black and white! XO Karla

El look de hoy es una combinación de mis piezas favoritas del momento. Empezando por la chaqueta de cuero de Billabong, que he usado muchísimo en todos mis viajes. Es liviana, con mangas acolchadas y puedes usarla para el otoño tanto como para el invierno. Los jeans negros son necesarios en mi closet! Hello everyone! Today i'm writing you from LA, one of my fave locations in the US so make sure to follow my travels on Instagram @kqnstyle! Lately I think I have been obsessed with different types of matching sets. First there was the Billabong halter top and shorts (here), then the two-piece set from Bebe (here), the wide cropped trouser with halter top from Zara (here), and lastly this amazing burgundy lace set! What can I say, I just love it! The best thing is that I can use every single piece separately and pair them with other tops and bottoms multiplying the options. I could wear this lovely set for work, dinner or an event. Hope everyone is having an amazing week!

¡Hola a todos! Hoy les escribo desde Los Ángeles, uno de mis lugares favoritos en los Estados Unidos, sigue mis viajes en Instagram @kqnstyle! Últimamente creo que he estado obsesionada con diferentes tipos de conjuntos. Fall has arrived and its the perfect time of the year to wear the fringe trend! Fringe is an eye-catcher, whether it is accenting the hem of a skirt, the sleeves of a jacket, or long strands on a bag. There are many ways to rock this trend without looking like you strolled in from the wild wild west. I paired the long strings of suede of this skirt with a long sleeve button down white top, a hat and heels. Because it is such a statement making piece I kept the rest of my look muted so that the fringe steals the show.

El otoño ha llegado y por lo tanto es la época perfecta del año para llevar la tendencia de flecos! Los flecos llaman mucho la atención en cualquier atuendo, ya sea acentuando el dobladillo de una falda, las mangas de una chaqueta, o en un bolso. Hay muchas maneras de llevar esta tendencia. Me puse esta falda de flecos con un top de mangas largas, un sombrero y tacones. Ya que la falda llama mucho la atención decidí mantener el resto del look sencillo.

Currently packing for another exciting trip and I'm definitely taking this outfit with me. I love this Billabong jacket for several reasons. It is very comfortable and good for traveling. The back has an oversize hoodie which is great when you get cold in the plane. And the fabric is really soft and easy to pair with anything. I decided to put this outfit together with this awesome faux leather biker trousers, booties and a hat! I love to wear great pieces like these during fall. Follow my travels on Instagram @kqnstyle. Ando empacando para otro viaje y sin duda me llevo este look conmigo. Me encanta esta chaqueta de Billabong por varias razones. Es muy buena para viajar y cómoda. La parte posterior tiene un 'hoodie' o gorro que puedes usar en cuando te da frío el avión. La tela es realmente suave y fácil de llevar con cualquier otra pieza de ropa.
