2014 has been an extraordinary year, I have a lot to be grateful for. Filled with so many blessings, many good changes and new experiences. A year where I have fallen in love once again with my industry; designing wedding dresses and making someone look beautiful that special day. I only know that it's been God opening doors and giving me the opportunity to do great things. I've traveled a lot this year and visited some incredible places like Australia and China. I've met a lot of people and most importantly I have learned many new things. None of these experiences would have been the same without amazing people surrounding me like my family and closest friends. I receive the new year with new goals and expectations. I wish everyone a Happy New Year!! XO

2014 ha sido un año extraordinario, tengo mucho que agradecer. Lleno de tantas bendiciones, muchos buenos cambios y nuevas experiencias. Un año donde me he enamorado una vez más de la industria en la que trabajo; diseñando vestidos de novia y hacer que alguien se vea hermosa ese día especial. Sólo sé que ha sido Dios abriendo puertas y dándome la oportunidad de hacer grandes cosas. He viajado mucho este año y visité algunos lugares increíbles como Australia y China. He conocido a mucha gente y lo más importante es que he aprendido una gran cantidad de cosas. Ninguna de estas experiencias habría sido lo mismo sin gente increíble que me rodea como mi familia y amigos más cercanos. Recibo un nuevo año con nuevos objetivos y expectativas. First of all, I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I'm back home in Miami to spend the holidays with my family and re-charging my batteries to go back to work in January. I spent 2 weeks working in China, came back home for a day and flew to Kansas City. Packing and unpacking has become easier at this point. Owning a couple of suitcases and packing for several trips at the same time helps a lot. Having basic pieces in my wardrobe is a must. I have learned to pack light and not have overweight luggage at the airport. Today I'm sharing a simple look from Zara. The top has a faux leather piece at the hem and a cool sheer back. I love this kind of spandex skirts, they mold your body and I tend to gravitate to prints like this one. Found this white shoes that I love, they look very modern.

Primero que nada, quiero desearles a todos una Feliz Navidad! Ya estoy de vuelta en casa para pasar las fiestas navideñas y vacaciones con mi familia en Miami. Estaré recargando las pilas para regresar al trabajo en enero. Pasé 2 semanas trabajando en China, regrese a casa por un día y luego viaje a Kansas City así que no he parado. Empacar y desempacar se ha convertido más fácil, tener varias maletas y dejaras listas para varios viajes ayuda mucho. Tener piezas básicas en mi armario es necesario. He aprendido a empacar menos ropa para no tener exceso de equipaje en el aeropuerto. Hoy estoy compartiendo una atuendo muy simple de Zara. El top tiene el dobladillo en cuero y la espalda trasparente. Me encanta este tipo de faldas spandex ya que moldean tu cuerpo y me llaman mucho la atención estampados como este. Al fin encontré unos zapatos blancos que me encantan, tienen un estilo muy moderno.

Today i'm writing this post from Hong Kong, since I started my new job I've been traveling quite a bit. It's amazing how much you can learn, do and grow in such a short period of time. Weekends ago I went to New York and spent some time with friends in the city. My favorite photographer Diana Zapata moved to NYC months ago and it was so nice to be able to get together and shoot some outfits. I love putting winter looks together but it is very difficult to do it living in such a tropical place like Miami. The key is the layering because as the day progresses and gets warmer or you go to work in an office it helps been able to take some pieces off. As you can see in the photos i'm showing different ways to do layering and how you could transform your outfit from day to evening. During the day I wore my high knee flat boots to be able to walk comfortably around the city and as the night was approaching I changed to my high heel boots and had to wear my black coat as temperatures dropped.
